Chief Minister Starts Visit to Ministries

Sabah’s blueprint for economic success is the Hala Tuju Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) Initiative to steer development; attract investments; and eradicate hardcore poverty.

During a visit to the Ministry of Finance on 9 May 2024, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor reiterated the call for administrative efficiency. He said he is impressed and satisfied with the Ministry’s performance and prudent management under Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun, its Minister. Mof has steered the state’s coffer and revenue towards an upward trend.

Ministry officials briefed the Chief Minister on the ministry’s achievements and challenges including seeking new sources of revenue. The working visit to MoF marked the first of the Chief Minister's visit to all ministries with the view to hear their operations; performance; and challenges.
