2026 State Budget Prioritises Roads, Water and Electricity

“In 2026, we will give special focus to three main issues: roads, water and electricity. The 2026’s State Budget continues the objective of improving the overall living standards of the people and especially the less fortunate and the Budget also focusses on educational and human capital development.” Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor, on 12 December 2025, at the State Legislative Assembly, during the tabling of the 2026 surplus State Budget of an expenditure of RM6.402 billion against an estimated revenue of RM6.430 billion.
