MPs Held Discussions with CM

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Haji Noor wanted to get a bigger picture of issues in districts. On 15 January 2026, the CM met with Members of Parliament in Sabah’s constituencies to discuss current issues.

"I have taken note of their views, feedback and recommendations regarding matters affecting the grassroots, which fall under both State and Federal jurisdictions. We also discussed administrative matters relevant to district and local authorities," Hajiji said.

Among the MPs who met with the Chief Minister were Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali (Papar), who is also Federal Minister of Domestic Trade and Living Costs, Datuk Shahelmey Yahya (Putatan); Datuk Matbali Musah (Sipitang); Lo Su Fui (Tawau), who is also the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department; Datuk Jonathan Yasin (Ranau); and Riduan Rubin (Tenom).
