Inaugural National Day and Sabah Day Parade

Thousands of people gathered along Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens, in Kota Kinabalu, from dawn on 31 August 2024 to celebrate the inaugural National Day and Sabah Day parade. Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin and wife Toh Puan Hajah Norlidah Tan Sri RM Jasni; and Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor graced the occasion.

Tun Juhar inspected the guard-of-honour and witnessed the oath-reading ceremony and choir performance. A total of 185 contingents from the security forces, government departments and agencies, uniformed bodies, associations and schools took part in the parade.
