Hajiji Meets Leaders of GRS Coalition

In its continuation of strengthening ties and bonding within GRS, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor constantly meet with the seven political parties of the powerful GRS. The latest meeting with all seven presidents of the GRS components was on 7 May 2025 at Sri Gaya, Kota Kinabalu. The regular meetings demonstrated the unity and comradeship of the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) family.

Hajiji said the meetings were always cordial and robust. “All presidents and leadership had pledged dedication, commitment, and loyalty to ensure GRS’s victory in the nearing elections in 2025. “The leadership shared their views and opinions. We know the need for a united front,” Hajiji said. Hajiji - who is GRS chairman and Gagasan Rakyat president – and the GRS coalition leadership met and discussed issues and challenges for three hours.

The leaders include:
• Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Joachim Gunsalam, Acting President, Parti Bersatu Sabah;
• Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, President, STAR;
• Tan Sri Pandikar Amin, President, USNO;
• Tan Sri Anifah Aman, President, Parti Cinta Sabah;
• Datuk Seri Panglima Yong Teck Lee, President, Sabah Progressive Party;
• Datuk Chin Su Phin, President, Liberal Democratic Party; and
• Tan Sri Liew Yun Fah, President, Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah.
