Culture and Heritage Unite Sabahans
With the Sabah election looming, many untruths are spread in the media including social media platforms. Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor reminded Sabahans to be aware of unverified stories downloaded at media platforms. "The GRS State Government has achieved many milestones in Sabah’s development progress, Hajiji said.
"This election is a major challenge, and it is a golden opportunity for the people to choose a government who cares for them and who prioritises local aspiration. Be aware of false news by the Opposition who is attempting to destroy our good image and reputation.” Hajiji spoke on 29 June 2025 at the closing of the Batangan, Barus, Korompitut, Wokok, Dungang 1, Dugang 2, and Pendamai (or BBKWDDP) Lotud Cultural Festival Hone Hall, IPGM Kent, Tuaran.

"The State Government supports cultural values and empower youth through heritage and cultural activities," he said. “The Dusun Lotud will become a progressive race and it has its place in our community.” On students and education, the Chief Minister said that the GRS administration has given much assistance to Sabah students including those who are studying in Malaya who are given financial assistance to return to their hometowns during major festivities, something never done before by any state government in Sabah.
During GRS as the state government, the investments portfolio has been pouring into the state. In fact, the Sabah Oil and Gas Industrial Park (SOGIP) in Sipitang has now been fully occupied. The latest is a Singapore-based company, which is bringing in RM19.5 billion in total investments and creating thousands of job opportunities for the local communities.
