GRS Candidates Will Be Announced on 12 November 2025

Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) will announce its candidates for the 17th Sabah state election on 12 November 2025. Polling day is on 29 November 2025. “We have done our list. Other parties may want to announce theirs anytime. We’ll make our announcement three days prior to nomination day,” Hajiji said on 6 November 2025 at Menumbok where he officiated the launching of the Kuala Penyu and Menumbok Sub-District Strategic Development Plan 2025–2035, the keys handover for the SMJ houses, the presentation of land gazette and the presentation of aids by the Limus Jury Foundation.

“We are confident of victory in this election.” Hajij who is also GRS Chairman said that the coalition’s ability to regain the mandate to govern the state after the 17th Sabah State Election stems from the strong line-up of “winnable candidates.” If GRS wins re-election, the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) 2.0 development roadmap will have the continuity of Sabah’s development programmes, Hajiji added.
