The State Government is committed to provide basic amenities for the people, including people in rural communities.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor said on 4 May 2024, that initiatives under the Hala Tuju Sabah Maju Jaya are bearing fruits. The State Government has successfully attracted investors to the state which has two industrial parks - the Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park and Sipitang Oil and Gas Industrial Park. Another two new industrial parks will be set up: one at Kimanis and the other in an area located between Kota Belud and Kota Marudu.

"The State Government is committed to do its best for Sabah and intensive efforts are on-going to resolve critical issues such as water, electricity supply and roads," the CM said.

The CM spoke at the launching of the Surau, Open Air Hall and Community Centre at Kampung Damat, Tamparuli. Hajiji – commending on Kampung Damat Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) for the timely completion of the three buildings, costing RM450,000 – said the State Government's commitment to ensure all communities will benefit from development and progress.

The construction of the Community Centre, which is an activity centre for the Christian community at Kampung Damat, is located adjacent to the new Surau, symbolising Sabah’s unique religious harmony.
