State Government Acknowledges Entrepreneurship Leadership

Infrastructural development must also be accompanied by the growth in entrepreneurship. Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor shared his thoughts at the Malaysia Role Model Enterprise Awards 2024 and PUMM installation and gala dinner on 26 October 2024 at SICC, Kota Kinabalu.

"I believe that entrepreneurship is more than just building businesses, it is about creating opportunities, uplifting communities, and driving sustainable economic growth," Hajiji said. "Sabah has plenty of opportunities and potentials, and we are eager to collaborate with the Malaysia Entrepreneurs' Development Association (PUMM) to further develop a vibrant, sustainable, and inclusive economy."

Hajiji said that exemplary leadership is critical and that the leadership of PUMM has demonstrated good examples of successes and leadership qualities.

Datuk Phoong Jin Zhe, Minister of Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship, delivered Hajiji’s speech.
