Petronas Seek More Collaboration with Sabah

Tan Sri Tengku Muhammad Taufik Tengku Aziz, President and Group CEO of Petronas visited Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor to discuss more collaboration by Petronas in Sabah and especially the further expansion of Sabah’s participation in the oil and gas industry. The delegation from Petronas on 3 March 2026 included Executive Vice-President & CEO of Gas & Maritime Business, Datuk Adif Zulkifli; Senior Vice President of Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM), Datuk Bacho Pilong; Vice-President of Group Strategic Relations & Communications, Ir. Norafizal Mat Saad and senior officials.

The delegation briefed the Chief Minister on potential strategic partnerships, the status of Petronas’s operations in the state, and Petronas’s ongoing relief efforts to support the State Government in assisting communities recently affected by floods in Sabah.
