Government’s Commitment to Prioritise Education

Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor said that the State Government will continue to prioritise the education sector, and especially in enhancing the quality of learning, empowering school management, and ensuring the holistic development of students. Hajiji reiterated his commitment to education during a meeting with the Sabah Education Department on 7 April 2026. Datuk Haji Raisin Saidin, Director of the State Education Department, led a delegation to discuss with Hajiji on key programmes for 2026 and plans for 2027, including the progress and encouraging achievements of students in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations.
